Methods and Pricing
Therapeutic Methods
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I thoughtfully integrate these methods to support your goals, preferences, and lived experience, creating a personalized path toward insight, healing and meaningful change.
-
Existential Therapy
In my practice, I often draw from existential therapy, a deeply reflective and philosophical approach that explores life’s big questions—like purpose, freedom, identity, isolation, and mortality. This method helps clients uncover what truly matters to them, especially when navigating life transitions, anxiety, grief, or identity exploration. Together, we reflect on the uncertainty and complexity of being human, and work toward living with more clarity, meaning, and alignment with your values. Existential therapy invites you to live more authentically—in your relationships, your choices, and your connection to the world around you.
-
Narrative Therapy
In my work with clients, I often use narrative therapy, a collaborative and empowering approach that sees you as more than your struggles. This method helps separate you from the problems you’re facing—whether it’s anxiety, trauma, identity concerns, or relationship challenges—and focuses on the stories you tell about yourself and your experiences. Together, we explore and reshape those narratives to highlight your strengths, values, and resilience. Narrative therapy supports the creation of more empowering self-identities that feel authentic and aligned with the life you want to live.
-
Solution-Focused Therapy
I often incorporate solution-focused therapy into sessions to help clients move forward with clarity and confidence. This goal-oriented, strengths-based approach emphasizes what’s already working in your life rather than dwelling on past challenges. Whether you're facing life transitions, relationship struggles, or anxiety, we’ll identify your existing resources and envision meaningful, achievable goals. Solution-focused therapy helps you build momentum through small, practical steps that lead to lasting, positive change—one success at a time.
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
I regularly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients navigating anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and emotional overwhelm. CBT is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we’ll identify and reframe unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and practice real-world tools to improve your mood and create meaningful change. CBT empowers you with practical skills you can carry into daily life—building resilience, clarity, and emotional balance.
-
Mindfulness
In my therapeutic work, I often incorporate mindfulness-based techniques to help clients feel more grounded, present, and in tune with themselves. Mindfulness involves cultivating non-judgmental awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and body—moment by moment. Whether you're managing stress, anxiety, trauma, or burnout, learning to pause and observe with clarity can lead to greater emotional regulation, less reactivity, and a deeper sense of calm. Mindfulness empowers you to respond to life’s challenges with intention rather than overwhelm, fostering resilience and inner balance over time.
-
Gottman Method
For relationship counseling, I draw from the Gottman Method, a research-based approach developed through over 40 years of studying what makes relationships work. With Level 1 Gottman training, I help couples—whether monogamous, polyamorous, LGBTQIA+, or non-traditional—strengthen their connection through structured, practical tools. Together, we focus on improving communication, navigating conflict with care, rebuilding trust, and deepening emotional intimacy. This method offers a supportive framework to help all partnerships grow with intention, empathy, and resilience.
-
Applied Behavioral Analysis
My background includes hands-on experience using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in both clinical and residential settings, including the Austin State Supported Living Center. ABA is an evidence-based approach that focuses on understanding and improving behaviors by reinforcing positive actions and teaching adaptive skills. I’ve worked with autistic individuals across a wide range of abilities, helping them build communication, daily living, and social skills while respecting their individuality and autonomy. This foundation continues to inform my work, especially in creating structured, supportive, and affirming environments for neurodiverse clients and their families.
-
Ecotherapy
I often incorporate elements of ecotherapy, a nature-based therapeutic practice that recognizes the healing power of our connection to the natural world. Whether it’s through guided imagery, grounding exercises, or reflection inspired by the outdoors, ecotherapy can reduce stress, ease anxiety, and foster a deeper sense of calm and clarity. For many clients—especially those navigating burnout, identity exploration, or existential questions—this approach offers a refreshing path to reconnect with themselves and the world around them. Even in virtual sessions, we can explore simple ways to integrate nature into your healing process, helping you cultivate peace, presence, and renewed perspective.
-
Trauma-Focused
My trauma-focused approach honors the full complexity of your experiences—past, present, and future. In our work together, we gently explore the impact of trauma while creating space to connect with your younger self, offering the compassion and validation that may have been missing. At the same time, we invite your future self into the process—helping you envision and move toward a life rooted in safety, agency, and self-trust. Whether you're healing from childhood trauma, relational wounds, or emotional neglect, this work supports decision-making from a grounded place of resilience and self-awareness. Trauma doesn’t define you—but understanding it can help you reconnect with your worth and rewrite your story with clarity and care.
